Its hard not to want 2x of any 5-series card right now... from what I've seen, every card scales very nicely in Xfire when a second one is added Makes ya think, that's for sure.

Prices are officially going up on the 5800 series. Order yours now, even if it's on backorder!

...Indeed as am I for my 5870. Just got off the phone with them and they have no idea, no ETA, no 'you are 22nd down the list', no nothin'

Woe is us

... this thread has a life now as a 5850/5870 whine fest, but one day soon it'll be all dancin' bananas and headbangers...I hope

OMG! The store just called and they have a 5850 for me available or pickup. But these days gave me time to think about the situation, and I think it would be better to just buy an Xbox 360 (and stick with the integrated). With all the games being ported poorly and being delayed for the PC I thought why bother?

I can't believe I'm saying this but I might pass up...

...augh, I don't have any real argument against you. I suppose someone else will be happy to buy it. Personally, I stopped playing on my 360 once I got my new card/build.

I just thought you know, what's the point? To show off Crysis? All the good games come to 360 nowadays anyway and some are even console-exclusive due to the devs selling out. After GTA4 came out for PC I kinda lost hope...

I would argue your points, but I play some of those games on my PC... with a 360 controller.
