Those wont work, the converter must be active which means there is a chip inside the converter to change the DP information into a DVI source. Passive adaptor from NCIX will not do this.

Default Upgrade

Couldn't pass up on a great deal for some 27" Dell monitors. Certainly not 30" as I can only afford so much (not that 27" are cheap either), but there is an improvement over 23" monitors. Now I have the Displayport built right onto the monitor so no need for adaptor. Some more NFS:Shift lovin!!
I wouldn't have invested so much into Eyefinity if I didnt believe in it. Now they just need bezel management and Xfire with it.

Start to remove the 23" to make room for 27"

Desktop

What NFS would look like with one 27"

Eyefinity with 27"'s

WoW.... just... WoW.

Unfortunately, many factors, such as desktop RealEstate, Financial Considerations and my Wife are all roadblocks to me going the Surround Gaming Route.

Ah well... at least I can run Crossfire.

No, wait... I can't find a 2nd 5850.

Wahhhh_Canuck :(

You don't even notice it when you are playing. You get used to it. I'll admit it's not for everyone, some are really bothered by the bezels. For me, I think it was well worth it, I can't go back to one monitor.

I used it on the LG setup and really you don't notice. Think of it like you're only focusing on the center monitor but you still see the side parts as peripheral vision. Much like sitting in a car and seeing the bars between the windshield and the doors.

Wow that does look good.

One question though, does that show up to the game as one large 5760*1200 screen? Or do you configure it to have 3 different views one for each monitor?
