Your opinion is welcome, but I'll take it with a grain of salt until you have sat down in front of a set up and tried it out instead of judging it by a few pictures on the net (which won't ever do it justice).
When you start playing, you dont even notice the bezzels. Your mind does compensate. And on FOV, look at the games that are running on EF, a few years old or more and they run on RC drivers from AMD. That's quite impressive and I have no doubt it will only get better.

Guess you can't please everyone, but oh wait....I wasn't here to do that. I only posted here to show what the possibilities of Eyefinity can have.

If you post something like this on a public forum your going to get all sorts of responses.. good and bad.

Myself I can't stand to sit in front a Sony Trinitron CRT because I notice the black lines and it drives me nuts.

And you didn't really show what the Eyefinity can have as its been shown all over and the TH2G has been doing this for quite some time.

Ummm did I not say I welcome your comment? I'd just respect it more if you actually used it and made judgement then. Just because I don't have the post count you have, doesn't mean I haven't been around the block on forums. I just know when to use "if you have nothing good to say, then don't say anything"

If you've seen it all before with TH2G, then why come here to comment in the first place? Yes TH2G has been around since the Parhelia days, but it didn't really take off since the performance tanked with it, and then the separate adaptor was for the enthusiast market. Eyefinity brings it back to mainstream, and it has the performance to back it up (can do higher resolution) on a single card.

You made your point that eyefinity is not for you so time to move on....

I'm about to set up my rig to do that myself. Couple of questions for you ontariotl if you don't mind...
what monitors are you using? cause i can't seem to find any that have displayport.
and are you using dvi dvi displayport for your connections?

thanks

I'm just using non displayport LG 23" monitors. I ordered the active displayport to DVI adaptor from the states since you can't find it up here at all. In saying that, apparently its just as hard in the US to get the adaptor now too as they are back ordered.

Dell has a half decent sale on their 23" that has a built in displayport so you dont have to worry about the adaptor. I would have jumped on this deal, but they weren't on sale at the time. I know they were cheaper than the sale they have now, but who know's when that will happen again. Have you ever considered removing the bezels and integrating all 3 panels onto one single super-monitor?
