Default Sapphire customer support

Hi all,

What do you guys think of Sapphire customer support, I might buy the 5770 from them (since they have Dirt 2).

I tried searching the forums and yes, I've read the results. But while there are many bad RMA experiences I've heard that they've changed their practice lately, so I just want to make sure of that. Is there customer support much better now?

Well, I just get my 4870 back from RMA last week and they have been pretty cool and fast ( 2 week is cool ) considering they are in US. It's also cool that they have send me a card with the new revision of the cooler damn silent here:) she was looking perfect no dust no scratch I would give them a 8 because they only provide a 2 years warranty. It's sure that some guys here will have terrible experience and some other will have great time but...that's the costumer support;) it always depend on the employee you get to work with your RMA.

Yes, only for shipping. I'm in quebec and it wasn't expensive at all, it cost me 14$ to ship it to them so it's pretty nice.

if you got a problem-free sapphire card your set for the next 5-10 years

make sure you stress test the new card for a few good hours, its a lot easier dealing with retailers than manufacturers

Is there any particular reason you're going with a 5770? At the moment, it's not a particularly strong card for it's cost. It's weaker than the 4870, which can be had for 120$ CAD, more than 40$ cheaper than the cheapest 5770 I could find on pricecanada.
