My System Specs

Default Xigmatek BIFROST

Well, Xigmatek has gone and launched a new GPU cooler.
As of right now, it just states compatibility with everything but the 5 series ATI cards,

However, some users on XS have successfully mounted 4series coolers on the 5 series PCB, using the stock plate. Maybe this might have the same results?

It uses HDT, which has worked wonders on CPU's. I wonder what the cooling performance would yeild.
Reviewers.... any chance of getting one of these in to test?

Looks very similar to the Arctic cooling offerings, except with direct touch.

I'm interested. I love these style coolers, they cool so damn well and are silent enough by my tastes

++1 they are looking like heaven and they are dead silent. I think I will sell my 275 and get a 5850 with this type of cooler.

Ask for more.

They kinda do, most of them include those backplates with holes in them. If you have any sort of fan blowing to the rear of your case a lot of the heat will go out the back.
