I guess we are going to have to wait for the "Redwood" or "Cedar" cards before we get a reference board that only uses one slot... It's too bad about the dual-slot thing. Although I do see a use for business/office use where 3 monitors would be useful. But, then if it's office use, then we might as well just wait for Cedar anyways right?

This card comes just as I'm looking to reconfigure my HTPC... couldn't ask for better timing! Not to mention; it'll be the perfect Christmas present for my 'dabble in the water' gaming brother, who wants a video card that'll play newer games half decently, but only games on a 12x10 monitor.

So, outta curiosity, has this card's 1080p playback been tested? I know previous 'low cost' cards have failed miserably in that area, and I'm curious if the 5750 (a card that looks to be marketed almost exclusively for HTPC's and other small form factors) stands up where others budget cards have fallen?
