Default Your Favorite ATI company and why?

I'm looking to buy the 5870 but waiting on restocking.

Which manufacturer is your favorite and why?

I haven't bought an ATI card for myself but I'd buy from XFX due to the warranty.

Read this thread:

Best 4870?

A quick search will do plenty! Then again, I prefer XFX. :P

i have used both nvidia and ati.

people like ati is jus cause of the value. price vs performance.

right now the fastest card on the planet is still nvidia.

5870 is new but still cant top 295. wait for 5870 x2 if it beat 295.

speed alone regardless of price nvidia takes crown.

oh nvndia is my favorite. cause im looking for pure speed. not value nor consumption.... just the fastest and powerfulest.

ati got issues on games alot more than nvidia. ati driver is kindda bad.

oh u mean favorite ati brand.... saying company gets me confuse.

ati brand is good is powercolor. why? cause if i remember correctly its 4870 got a barbaric comic-ish girl on it. its the only girl sticker on it. the rest of the brands is no girl. she doesnt look feminem but shes a female.

not even close to being on topic...

On topic: I'd personally go for the XFX as well, best warranty in the biz for gpus.

I think HIS or Sapphire for doing awesome alternate cooling solutions. Asus as well for again better cooling, and providing voltage options on some cards.

I know everyone just says XFX due to warranty alone, but otherwise they're nothing more than reference cards. They don't go above and beyond ATI's design by swapping out components for higher-grade ones like Sapphire and ASUS do on some.

My XFX 4890 has an entirely different power scheme that requires no cooling at all so it is definitely not a ref design.
