Also, no doubt that people were waiting to see what the GTX 300 series would bring. It's Nvidia lol. I just wish that someone would work out the kinks in ATI's hardware so that I could have the possibility to fold with them as well. That way I would actually have an option of who I would want to give my money to. Sucks, but it's true. Both companies have great products and are quite well balanced, but if it has more to offer than just gaming, then I will buy that card.

ive got an xfx 5870 on backorder. NCIX eta said today but im not holding my breath. Waiting until jan to xfire it when the prices drop a bit as what i paid for my 5870 has my wife pretty miffed at me right now lol. But the peace and quiet she will get when im playing games will pay off. Minus the occasional slew of profanity.

Just an FYI. Check out the listed ETA on this. Perhaps we'll see some stock after that!

Newegg.ca - SAPPHIRE 100282SR Radeon HD 5850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card w/ATI Eyefinity - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Oh... and the price seems quite reasonable all things considered.

Cheers!

I agree 100%. My 5870 is brutally loud. Mine also doesnt want to seem to OC worth anything either. Regardless its still one badass card though.Waiting for my 25.5" monitor to come in to really test it out.Hopefully monday ups will be nice and drop it off.
