My System Specs

Default SLI 260gtx (192 core) & 260 gtx (216 core)? Possible?

Is it possible at all? Or no? I need to know 100% sure, no opinions or maybes please.

Of course it's possible to have the two cards running on a machine, but SLI I don't think it's possible. It's a different core architecture (well, just a few more SP cores added, but you know what I mean). You'll have to get someone else to double check with.

Thank you Kylzer and bojangles! Thats a really good article and like bojangles mentioned, cleared it up for a lot of people probably besides myself. And now to buy a 2nd card :o)

It will work in fine in SLI...the only "catch" is it will only utilize the 192 Shaders NOT the 216....the set-up is only as powerful as the weakest link. I went through this about a year ago before moving to my 280's....
