Default What graphics cards can run Age of Conan maxed?

I'd like to buy a graphics card that can run age of conan with all setting maxed but not 2 cards in sli or a dual gpu card. I'd also like to know what power supply would handle the card in SLI if you know. The reason for this is that I'll use another card in SLI when it stops being able to run new games decently. According to the article on this site a 9800 gtx can run it on high but not max so unless something changed and made that possible I'm crossing that out as a choice. I want an Nvidia card but I have no preference over the brand (ie : Evga or xfx) thanks in advance.

What resolution monitor are you using? And I'd recommend a GTX275 card, will handle anything on a 22" monitor. As for a PSU, 500w should be fine for a single GPU system.

+1 for sugarJ's suggestion. gtx275 is the way to go. I would go EVGA, JMO. But I would pick up a corsair tx750watt so that in the future you can get another 275 and SLI.

I'm using a 26" LCD wide-screen television and have basically no knowledge of resolutions other than 800x600 in the games I play on the computer I'm using now. But in any case the aspect ratio I'm using is 16:9 if that helps at all. I'm going to go read a couple of articles on it so if I don't reply that's why.

Ok from what I've read in about 5 minutes I think tv's can only go up to a resolution of 640x480 which is pretty bad as far as I know. I know this is a bit off topic but I'd rather just ask here than make a new thread so any monitor suggestions to go with that gtx 275.

your using 800x600 on a 26 inch LCD monitor!?!?!? WHAT!? if you are, then I think you should ibe using 1920x1200 IIRC. a gtx275 should still run fine on your monitor, but you COULD get a gtx285 if money isnt a problem just because they run cooler, overclock better, and run quieter than a gtx275. But remember that if you get the gtx275, get it as an EVGA card because if you dont seem to be satisfied with the performance you can step up to a gtx 285 or something else because of their kickass 90 step up feature.

EDIT: ohhh, television, read it wrong. Still, if its LCD it should at least be ****x720...

So would the GTX 275 be able to max it on a monitor with a recommended resolution of 1680x1050 or would I need a better graphics card for that? Also for a bit of something to go on in terms of how hard it is to run it has a lot of specs similar to crysis and some are even a bit higher I think.

Why don't you post your specs, and what budget you are looking at spending? Then we can offer specifics. But if you're going to run at 800x600, a 9800gt would do it no problem.

You didn't say you were going with a whole new build! Those are good parts.

Are you aware antec has the new 900 Two? You may like it better. And are you overclocking at all? If so, don't forget an aftermarket cooler.
