Default 8800 gts superclocked on sale...should i buy it?

Ive recently skimmed through the Futureshop flyer when something cought my eye...

320 mb 8800 gts superclocked for $279.99 CAN

i know this is a pretty stupid question but uh....should i get it?

Get it. Awesome card. I run mine at 675/1030. Flies.

Here's my 3DMark06: Futuremark - ORB - Project Comparison

I don't see it on the FutureShop website, so maybe it was a mis-print?

The 8600 GTS is the EVGA card for $279.99 and that is NOT a good deal considering you can get a 8600 GTS 256MB @ NCIX for $179.

i didnt see it on the website either but it showed on the flyer and im not joking

i guess that the website isnt updated yet

Yeah, I cant see any pc gear being cheap at FS, probably misread or misprint.

Never buy GPU's from Future shop or best buy. Just basically don't buy anything from them unless it is cheaper than online.

I will agree with you there. Big box chains like futureshop or best buy overprice their items (especially computer parts) like mad compared to more independant stores or online.

but at least its nice when you see sales like this
