Seriously, while there are some seriously AAA titles coming with PhysX, it doesn't look like PhysX will change gameplay enough to call it a must-have feature.

well im going to use 7 anyways, ill look deeper into this. But wit the RC client can you upgrade to a active version of 7 later or do i need to clean install again?

i was thinking one of these for a PhysX card, but i duno bout what my power usage is gonna be like... i mean its ok if i overdraw my supply a bit right (750W, rated for 825W) and my recommended just for my card is 750W... im thinking id be good but ill see i guess... But at 100$ for a card, i wont be mad if it doesnt do what i need, aslong as i can set it up to do my dirty work.

Maybe I should make myself clearer. You will need to use totally outdated drivers to use a PhysX card with an ATI card in Windows 7...

The problem is that PhysX relies on profiles much like 3D Vision. You need updated ones for the API to function properly in newer games. Basically, you will be using drivers which were intended for games that were released months ago without proper support for newer games.

so your saying... that unless the demand becomes enough for people to crack the new drivers, this will be only applicable to older series games (cryostasis, Crysis Etc.)

Crysis doesn't use PhysX but yes. Nearly every new Nvidia driver release includes updates for PhysX support if there are new games that support it.

Actually, im seeing that its not worth it so im not going to be trying it, may as well stick to ATI, If PhysX ever gets THAT big then i will make the move to Nvidia, but until its a big requirement for the modern game i will not be making a move.
