you know, its true what they say, the love is instantaneous. ( my 4870 x2, from memory express, strangely looks 100% identical to my 3870 x2 lol) im wondering what happened to it originally since its a refurb.... god i bet the guy let it burn...

Silly think doesn't look like a sapphire now does it? i mean the sapphires have a red shell and ruby on them, dont they...

If you are concerned about heat try out the Arctic Cooling Accelerro Extreme. I have it on my 4870x2 and it has helped considerably in both cooling and noise control. When that stock cooler spools up it sounds like a hurricane the card still roasts. It's worth looking into for sure but remember it adds about 30mm to overall length and about 20mm to the width.

2 weeks ago the only place I could find stock was Memory Express.

Oh yeah... congrats on the new card too

Thats an OEM based, unmodified model. Thats the OEM sticker, basically IMO the best look a 4870X2 can have.
