My Second HD 4770 has Arrived
 

Time for some benchies:

3DMV - P11227

Not bad, my first run with a HD4870X2 only got P12622.

Seems to me the color fill test demonstrates how crappy the 128bit memory bus is.

3DM06 @ 1920x1200 (my Quad at 3.0 is bottleneck city, might as well up the res. when you can)

Pretty decent score for about $200 in GPUs? Have you OC'd them yet?

I haven't tried the second card yet, but rest assured, I will be OC'ing the snot out of these. Total cost was $268, $158 for the first, I picked up the second for $110 shipped.

any gaming benchmarks coming up?

couldn't you get a 4850 and Crossfire b/c the Powercolor one is $99 @ NCIX.

4770 can't crossfire with 4850

Nice.. so far what I've seen with the 4770 and I'm impressed.. Card has been performing really well, look at your Crossfire beats out the X2.. Oh well good luck having fun with the cards..

Hmmm, only 19K in the default '06 bench thus far... Time to drop the gloves. (Vista doesn't seem to be helping much either)

Your right Vista 64 Bit doesn't do 3DM06 any justice, however running that X fire with a Quad CPU ashould get better results (I would think...could be wrong)....9800 GTX + SLI ($300 fpr two) and a Dual Core (E8400) puts out 19.5K.......
If that XFire is anything like SLI your Q6600 @ 3.2 Ghz is holding you back....bump it up to 3.6 - 3.8 and re-test..
