Would you buy "open box" vid card from NCIX?

I have bought 2 items openbox 1 a PSU that was DOA and the other was a heatsink, I wouldnt buy a component again though.

I agree with both statements and I have also given it some thought, but I was never able to do it and always just ended up purchasing new.

Unless NCIX actually tests the product, which by the sounds of it they just resell it, i'd avoid the headache of buying open box

I agree with the posters above, I buy new to save myself some headache and it's usually cheaper to price match.

and i find ncix products are overpriced unless you price match or get them at sales

no you can't, but I'm saying it cheaper to price match new item than to buy open box.

Which is why I buy from DC - For those that require no support it's a good option, much cheaper, and it belongs to NCIX as well :)

I would not advise ever buying open box online - also it would be a bad thing if NCIX did not test the open box items before selling them ! anyways msot of the purchases I've made from DC came in suspect looking boxes that appeared to have been used / opened, I see some complaints about the same thing over at NCIX (no surprise since both share the same sources). So far fingers crossed never had an issue, but would never purposely buy something that was returned. Would you order open box pizza - customer orders pizza changes his mind and the store sells it back ? Probably not. :)

I would from ncix if the price was much lower, I find the price is rarely more than 20-30 bucks less than brand new which hardly makes it worth the risk.
