Default GTX 275 versions?

Hello all, just wondering if anyone has pictures of the PCB to compare the reference GTX 275 to the revised GTX 275.
Also, if possible, if they could compare it to a revised GTX 260 216sp 55nm as well.

I thought I would post here because it's more video card related, but I am wondering this because of GPU full cover water block compatibility.

I just want to make sure when I receive my card that I'll be able to spot out the differences.

A few hours on google hasn't helped much. I've found two different boards yes, but none labelling as revision 1 or 2.

Finally, if anyone has bought the card recently and has noticed which revision they got, please let me know if it was a rev 1 or 2.

Thanks in advanced.

The only revision I'm aware of is the Gainward/Palait non-referance PCB's. This is probably what you're seeing online. All other manufacturers use the ref pcb afaik.

The 216 is NOT the same layout as the 275.

I believe the OP is refering to that rumor which went out before the GTX 275 launch that there would be two versions of the card: one that went out to reviewers which had a beefed-up PCB and another that went to the retail channels. That never panned out as far as I know and I have had something like 8 different GTX 275s go through my hands. Of those, the only company that had a slightly modified PCB was Gigabyte.

Yes I remember that rumor too, and I believe the Gigabyte PCB SKY mentioned having a different layout was because of there Ultra Durable technology they implemented.

But I haven't seen any other rumors or news stating of another line or revision of the GTX 275 coming out.

Wow, perfect, thanks guys.

Good stuff to know. Guess I shouldn't have to worry when ordering my block and card at the same time.

Thanks again!

That is nearly the identical layout to my EVGA 275, yes.

I'm pretty sure there is a revision on the board layout. Swiftech offers a full cover waterblock for the revised layout (which makes me assume that there was a previous version).

I think there's another post where it shows that the first revision has 2 capacitors at the top, while the revised version only has one.

The second capacitor interferes with the full waterblock that Swiftech offers (I think), hence, the block is meant for the revision.

If I am wrong, please let me know, as I am thinking of purchasing this waterblock :P
