Default physx: 9600gt/9800gt

alright, i'm sure you guys are tired of physx questions, but i hope you'll bear with me for one more time :) .

anyhow, if i were to devote a pcie x1 slot to physx, would a 9600gt be enough to saturate the slot or would a 9800gt be more appropriate?

the 9600gt would be fine, but i would definitely pay the extra $20 bucks and get a 9800gt

X1 slot might be too slow for a 9600gt maybe a X4 slot can boost performance or it might not help at all in gaming

anyways i wouldn't know since i never used a X1 for physx

My System Specs

PhysX is pretty useless. There's only so many good games out there that actually take advantage of it. I say get a good overall GPU and you're good to go.

What's your system rig?
