Would a 8600GT cut it for physx. I think in win7 you can run ATI and Nvidia both? so I could put the 8600GT to use once I get win7?

It really depends on how Nvidia and ATI code their drivers for Win7 and how certain features are implemented. Until we get our hands on the final version of Win7, it is best not to assume too much.

However, I don't think that an 8600GT has enough processing power to make a good PhysX card.
