I think the max for sli is 3 unless you are running 295s then you can do quad!

ok final question quick quick i wont post again. what is faster regardless of price? 3(three unit which is 3 gpu total) gtx 285 or 2(two unit which is 4 gpu total) gtx 295?

three gtx 285 vs two gtx 295.... which is faster?

I would bet the 2x295 simply because that's 4 cores working for you rather than 3

Tri SLI GTX 285 is the fastest especially after overclocking.

Although I think I would go with Quad SLI 295 because of less mobo space taken up

Two of these should do it...

Interesting. I would have expected the slower 960 cores to win, rather than the 720 faster cores.

Also, I would have expected some inefficiencies in tri over dual SLI setup.

Do you know of an article offhand which might lead to me understanding why?
