Default Can you sli two different 200 series cards?

Like the title says can you sli two different video cards for example the gtx 275 and the gtx 280?

Nope

only crossfire allows for the pairing of different cards within the same family or generation (for example 4850 & 4870 mixed CF is possible, but 3870 & 4870 CF is not)

You can NEVER EVER SLI 2 different nVIDIA cards. Not even the 8800gt and 9800gt works, unless you flash them.

As of now anyways, but i doubt nVIDIA would EVER do it either , the G92 is a great example.

Eeven if ATI cards can it still has to be based on the same chip, for example the 4850 and 4870. There's still issues with running two different cards anyway, so pairing up two of the same card greatly reduces any Crossfire issues.

You could probably sell ur GTX280 and get a GTX275 at NCIX Surprise Sale or HERE when the Reviewers are selling stuff

Then you could SLI 2 GTX275 :)
