That sounds like a weird "upgrade". You're ditching a pair of 4870 GPU's for a pair of 4770's?

Asus is coming with a volt mod version of the ati 4770, it supposing to be clocked at 970mhz for core and performance should beat the 4850

I would have bought at least 3 of these if the cooler wasn't so crappy looking. I wish it was single slot too...

A 970 clocked 4770? Would be ideal for me depending one the price. Even at the same price as a 4850 I would almost rather the 4770 since I've only got a 500W power supply, modestly cooled case, and hate noisy parts.

Cowboy, I disagree, I think the cooler is nice change, looks more like a computer part and not a plastic box with a magazine ad plasted on it. If you mean crappy in effectiveness, then nevermind. Single slot, ya.. Maybe next gen's...like a 4790 or something.
