Bump it up to someone higher on the food chain. The response was unacceptable but if it is within 30 days of purchase, return it to the store where you bought it.

I know it's not a funny matter but the BFG response to you underclocking your card is rediculous. I've never bought a BFG product but I was told they have have fast RMA and you only have to ship it back east somewhere instead of down to the US so that was a bit of a plus in my mind. After hearing your problem I've all but dismissed ever buying a BFG if they don't let you overclock, I mean really who dosn't try to tweak hardware and your attempt to diagnose your cards instability by underclocking seems very reasonable. I hope you took that tech's name and give it to a higher up once you call back. Good luck Ukonjack and please update us how things go.

If you wish ukonjack give them a call back see if you get any further please document when you first called and the person's name, also document the same things for the 2nd time and their responses (word for word if you can). The time would be great too.

If they still don't do anything and you have this information I'll gladly call on your behalf I use to work jobs like that so I know the in's and out's and can usually get what I want :)

Just trying to offer a helping hand let me know!

have you guys read the BFG warranty policies its ridiculous. they want your original receipt, original items, no tweaking of there clocks/removal of heatsinks.

Will never buy another new BFG product

I just sent in a card a few weeks ago with no troubles, the tech wanted me to try a few things and when he was sure the card was defective gave me a RMA#. I shipped it off to Quebec someplace and 10 days later I got it back.

They never once asked any questions about over/under clocking it or had me do anything that might have revealed me tweaking it in any way..

oh and I didn't have to send anything back other than the card itself, the generic RMA instructions said not to send anything but the card.

I did ask if I offered up my credit card # if they would cross ship a replacement but apparently they don't do that.

My experience with BFG was decent enough...

Hope you can resolve your issue without too much more trouble..

Lol if the warranty is that bad the cards must not be that good! Lol A warranty really shows the character and quality of the products and manufacturer!

Does explain why BFG cards are typically cheaper than EVGA and most others, infact the warranty policy is the #1 reason why I didn't buy them.

This sounds more like something Rogers or Bell would do, not BFG
