hi there, stock BFG 9800GT here :)

idle 64C
load 89C for folding/87C-89C for gaming

92C for 511PT WU

No problem here yet

as for overclocking the card, its impossible due to these ridiculous temps

when i had ati cards i usually think 70C was a tad too hot but these nvidia series can really heat up. they deserve a gold medal for winter heating

you have the 700mhz core gigabyte 9800gt right ? 70C sounds like good temps for that high of a core

It's only 600 on the GPU core, but I've OC'd the shader core to 1860 to increase my PPD.
