Default BFG 9600GT OC Worth

First of all, I'm sorry if this is not allowed or in the wrong thread. However, I remember seeing it before so I think it's allowed...>.<

My friend is interested in purchasing my BFG 9600GT OC (in sig) to go with his HP computer that has a Core 2. Approximately how much is m 9600GT worth? I've seen on the FS/FT and on sites like NCIX, etc. that the 9600GT still go for around $80. Is it actually worth that much?

Thanks!

I would sell it for atleast 80 bucks, maybe more if ur friend doesn't know anything about technology. :) and upgrade to something higher ie. ATI 4870/ NVIDIA GTX 260 Core 216.
I got mine @ NCIX for 80 buck last August. (UBER Deal),

Well I got it for $70AR when I bought my system. I'm surprised that after so many months, it's still worth around $80 to $85....I thought it'd drop rapidly like cell phones and stuff.

Would I really need a GTX260 Core 216 to game at 1280X1024? And I'm a casual gamer. The last time I played anything intense like Bioshock or CoD4 was......2008.

So is there any reason why a 8800GT would cost the same as a 9600GT used?

My friend's willing to pay up to $85 for my 9600GT OC, but I might just make him pay $80 since he's a friend, don't wanna rip him off, etc. But if he buys for around $80, that means I basically get a free "upgrade" to a 8800GT

Question: How does the warranty and things go when buying used stuff? I'm asking for the both of us since we've never bought used computer parts. Thanks!

Generally the warranty is done once its past the first end user (XFX no included). But since you guys are friends, you can just contact BFG and leave out the part where you sold the GPU if anything went wrong. Then the RMA should go perfectly fine.
