Is this the one from the folding competition at HWC? if so then you should probubly either use it to fold for the team or sell it to a folding member at a discounted price IMHO, I didnt realize thats the card we where talking about here.

Sorry alwaysrun I wasnt aware that you could do that, but still I wouldnt, your either sacraficing gaming performance which im not about to do, or PPD which is a waste as well, better off folding at night and gaming during the day like I normally do.

l-lunter finding anywhere that sells this Extreme Edition is tuff, I fancy myself a damn good price finder but this card simply isn't out on the market yet. I've read brief comparisons and snipits of overviews of this card but it seems like narrowing it's retail value down is a daunting if not impossible task atm. Judging it solely on it's clocks it's very comparable to the EVGA GTX 285 FTW Edition.

ASUS GTX 285 ULTIMATE: 712/1620/2760MHz
EVGA GTX 285 FTW: 720/1620/2772Mhz

Newegg.ca - EVGA 01G-P3-1182-AR GeForce GTX 285 FTW Edition 1GB 512-bit DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards

Theres the lowest sale price atm for the EVGA model but I'm not sure how much if anything should be added for the cards rarety, uniqueness factor. Still a damn fine factory OC and a neat conversation piece having something noone else has...for a little while at least. Grats once again no matter where the card makes it's home.

Thanks Alwaysrun, nice comparison.

I'll play with it see what I like about it and what not. It should stay within this folding community imo, but we'll see. I may want it so I can actually get a driver for linux.

l-lunter i live in Halifax but going to N.B at end of May and may have a deal you will be interested in,i have a EVGA 260 that plays great at 1680x1050 and would be a nice up grade from your 3870.
I will trade this card plus 150 in cash, for the 285,was going to get second 260 for 200$ but that 285 looks sweet.

FYI, you won't be able to find a price for the GTX 285 you won because it is one of a kind. There was one GTX 285 Ultimate produced for marketing in North America and this is the card.

Well If I keep it I'll probably sell my monitor and video card, and buy a nice big monitor. Any suggestions on that?
