I've always folded and gamed at the same time Realityshift. Give it a try it won't blow up your rig lol. The folding client will just use whats left over. Usually my folding ppd drops by 50% while I game but I can adjust that by setting the game options lower so the folding client dosn't feel ignored. I'm playing COH Tales of Valor now online with graphics set to medium except shadows are low and I get around 70% of my normal ppd while gaming. Rule of thumb I use is to always set the shadows to low and then the folding in the background won't suffer as much. But with really heavy eye candy games I do shut down the folding client so I can see all the goodies, but the games really got to be a standout to make me shut down my beloved folding completely.

high Priority or low priority both will effect gaming in some way. As now with new games they tend to almost use 99% of the GPU.

Time to sell that gtx 285
Make sure you read the BST rules

This problem can be solved by adding a second GTX 285 to your rig....

I've read them. I just don't know what I would set the price as. First I have to fill out the invisible paperwork and receive the card before I can sell it.

You understand you'd be selling a unique card...

I live and work in Saint John. I also have an apartment in Fredericton. Damn 12 month leases.

I know it's unique, thus it should sell for a higher price.

I may end up keeping it just because I won't want to bother selling it if I can't find a local buyer.

If the price is right and by that I mean if the price is right... you might have a local buyer.

You're reading his post right now.

If I do decide to sell it you'll see it in the BST trades here I'm sure. I've got a friend who's interested. I just have no idea how much something like that is worth. I'm feeling 400 right now but hey I dunno.

Just sort of working on a clients pc right now. Waiting for that paperwork to get sent...

Hopefully I can supply power to this thing. I've got a 500Watt and from what I believe I read it was a 55nm so it shouldn't be much more then my 3870.

edit- So I take it you live in Freddy?
