I was actually thinking about making a new system with 2 HD 2600XT GDDR3's in crossfire. Maybe the GDDR4s but yeah, the transition is going slow to DX10 native games and what not. That card though probably will suck on its own in terms of graphic power. I have bad memories about my friends X1600XT. Man that thing sucked. But yeah, I like the dongless SLI type crossfire now.
