+1, I'm leaning towards the gamma being too high myself.

in the past months i saw several 8600 GTS for under 49.99 in ebay. i might get it for fun and for experience another nvidia. not to replace my 8800 gts aha thats crazy but to install in my other rig. my athlon64 3200+ system. i have x700 pro installed right now on that system.



yeah 8600 GTS is probly a crap card compare to 8800 GTS G92 but i dont think its that bad. it is atleast better than 9500GT. 8600 GTS combine with 4gig ram xp is incredible although i might get low frame but i calculate as a fine setup.

Seriously, if your deciding factor is a CG girl on the card, let me help you out....

Buy a proper card based on price:performance. Then go online, find some anime/CG girl of sorts, print it out, and tape it onto the card's heatsink. This way, you can have your dream girl in whatever position you want on your video card.
