XFX power supply requirements...

I was wondering why the power requirements on an XFX card are higher than cards from other companies. For example they say to use a minimum of 630 watts for a GTX260 while everyone else states that minimum requirements are 500w. Am i missing something?

it's not the watts of the pSu that count it's the Amp of the rail connect to your card can output

That's partially true. There's also the fact what kind of rig he has, and if his PSU is a name brand like OCZ or Corsair which offers good, quality power, or if it's a so-so brand like Ultra. Don't get me Ultra, Ultras are pretty good now, but I still prefer OCZ and Corsair over them.
