Well, I cant really upgrade my Processor for $100.00 lol. I was planning on taking the $400.00 that I was offered, and pitching in an extra $100.00. So yea, also, I am on an AM2+ Mobo, so the only thing I can upgrade to is the new Phenom II. Which, I heard is only 13% better than a stock 9950. How about a 4870X2, or an GTX295?

At 1680X1050, I would do this. Sell your Phenom 9950, purchase a Phenom II then overclock the hell outta it, providing that your motherboard support Phenom II. What motherboard do you have?

I would then sell those dual 4850 for $200 each (even though they're like $130ish used) then get a ATI 4870 or NVIDIA GTX260 with 216 shaders.

Yes it supports Phenom II but Im not looking to spend money on a new CPU, and GPU(s). Might as well just sell the whole rig and start over.

Based on the funds you will have available, (with perhaps just a little bit more added) and your likes for the newest dual gpu cards, I say go for the 295. You only live once

I could sell the whole thing and buy a
MSI X58 Pro i7
Intel Core i7 920 (+$364 for the 940)
Transcended 6GB DDR3
Saphire Radeon 4870X2 or a Zotac Geforce 295(+30)
