NVIDIA 9400 GT or ATI Radeon X1550 ??

I wanna know which one you'd prefer... And I'm also looking for a fully featured comparison table..
Can you help??

Id say the 9400 if Had to choose one, those x1550s are OLD... The 9400 atleast supports Dx10. Put it this way, the 9400gt performs a bit slower then the x1950 pro, which admitedly is a much better card then the x1550.

Can I ask what the purpose of the card is?

I think a 9400GT vs a HD4350 is a more fair comparison. That X1550 is just too old to be compared to a current card.

I was thinking the same thing myself jdrom, theres 2 different cards between the 9400gt and the x1550, 3xxx series and the 4xxx series.

Make that three. You forgot about the 2xxx series.

If you're going to use this card in a HTPC, grab an ATI card. Aside from that it's hard to say anything else without knowing what you're thinking about using this card for.

Yeah the ATI cards are nice for that because they pass sound through DVI without much effort. and your right I totaly forgot about the 2xxx series >.<
