Upgrade to What??? (Using 9600GT)

Looks like TimTheE went from a 8600gt to 4870 which is a huge jump (8600gt sm3 is close to the same lines as an old 800xl sm2 as far as performance).

Ps; I went from 800xl to 8800gts640MB big diff, then to 9800gtx+oc 512MB noticable diff, but with 512MB vram 4aa and 8af at 1680x1050 got some micro stutter( maybe x2 6000 was holding it back) so, then I got gtx 280 1GB noticible diff from the 9800gtx+ but nothing to write home about (x2 6000 3.3ghz is still holding it back). If u want to upgrade and see a good difference the 9800gtx+ 1GB (yup 1GB BFG makes it) or gts 250 1GB. 1GB of vram isn't about speed it's about smoothing it out, some will say u don't need 1GB vram but what I've seen with my settings and st up I did and do need more than 512MB vram. The 8800gts 640MB ran smoother than the 9800gtx+ with my settings but it lacked horse power.

9600 gt is still good. all you need now is get 16gig ram. guarenteed no lagg.
