Good to hear SM, let us know please.
HIS is the corner stone of my ATI Experiences, and in every machine I've built for people, even ones at work, and my own.
So, yeah I want things to work out :)

HIS are normally pretty good honoring their warranty. Unlike some other companies... *cough* Diamond *cough*...

Seriously, try to go on Diamond website and do an RMA...

Diamond Multimedia Support Center - Home Page

I have a contact at Diamond RMA if someone is interressed

Sapphire....

Yeah, HIS so far has been good to me.
It is always in my top list of parts I suggest for new builds/upgrades.

Only thing I have to complain, was the poor build quality of their IceQ cooler on the 1950xt... seriously they are really cheap. I had so many of them going to HIS just because the fan bearing died/seized.

I had better RMA experiences before.

My evga 8800GTX (bought on the release day) died only after 2 weeks. It has been RMA'd and replaced in less than 48 hours (air shipping to QC and NCIX FTW )

My gigabyte board (P45DSR3 or something) has been repaired in less than 3 weeks (directly with gigabyte). No problems whatsoever.

2 memory sticks with Corsair last year were replaced with new ones also in less than 3 weeks (directly with Corsair).

That Cooler isn't theirs, you can Thank Artic Cooling for that poor design.
Its why my 2600 Had to be RMA'd in the first place...

Was thinking the same thing Chilly.
I wish when things went south people let us know the final result.

Hmm I agree just read the entire thread now I am interested to know what happened.

Issues like these are why I prefer to deal directly with the manufacturer and thats why I stick with EVGA.

Regards,

EE

"Hi X,
We will get you taken care of. I'm sorry for all of the delays.
Someone will contact you and we'll make sure this works for you.
Thank you for your patience.
Regards,
Linus"

This is the reponse I've got from Linus last monday. I'm still waiting for my RMA number but I'm confident I'll get it in a few days

Best regards,
SM
