Product Warranty
Limited warranty period of 30 days is provided through NCIX.com from the time of purchase. The remainder of the warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.

This is what's written at the bottom of this page
NCIX.com - Buy HIS Radeon HD 4870 X2 750MHZ 2GB GDDR5 2XDVI HDTV PCI-E Video Card - H487X2F2GP In Canada.

I'll send the question to Linus.
I know, I saw that too. They've obviously changed it since then.

When I bought both my 4870X2's it said this:

Product Warranty
1 year limited warranty through NCIX.com.

Like I said, it was the only reason I bought the HIS cards over another manufacture back in August 2008. I even have proof from a sales person at NCIX somewhere in my email as I asked to double check it wasn't a mistake.

I'm beginning to see the source of all this confusion. So Lexy maybe right after all. Letís wait and see what Linus will say.

Thanks Chilly.

Yeah I can see the confusion too. The people down at Lexy see that these cards had a 1 Year, but NCIX see's it as Now they Have 30days.

I think Linus should be able to sort this out. IF not, let me know.

I already did a RMA in the past with them... try these fellas: I used to deal with Carly Kwok all the time, she could probably help you out. You know passing the lvl 1 support. Attach your original invoice in your email with the NCIX discussion.

RMA Supervisor
jason@lexypacific.com

RMA Section
carly@lexypacific.com
rebecca@lexypacific.com

But don't go flame them... they know their stuff. But I really think that you need to send it to your retailler and then THEY send it to their supplier (ie. HIS).

These emails I have described are with Carly. Jason (the supervisor) had fowarded my RMA request to her and then she replied to me to contact NCIX.

I really think now the problem boils down to a change of warranty policy from NCIX. I've already sent another mail to Linus with a link to this discussion.

I have no intention of flaming them or NCIX. I just want my card to be RMA. It's just that I'm not used to these kind of problems.

Thanks Chos3n.

Here's what Linus responded me just moments ago:

I've forwarded this to the product manager internally. We'll get it sorted out for you one way or another. Thank you for your patience.

Linus

I think I got their attention

Thanks again guys, I'll keep you updated.
