I was getting answers from a real person at lexy pacific. But they did not seem to care much.

I'll get on the phone tonight as I'm at work now and I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for your help guys.

BTW, How did you proceed for your RMA Soultribunal?

Very simple and Straight forward I suppose. Placed a call to make sure of all the info they wanted. They called me back same day at 2pm EST.
I filled out the online form, got a Copy of my Invoice through Tigerdirect.
Faxed it to the Number Provided. (just to be safe I did email them as well with all the info)
1 Day later I was issued an RMA #. 3 Days Later I had my card outbound from my work and headed down to Their facility.

Regards,
ST

EDIT: If worse comes to worse, I can give you the Contact Info I still have from them.
I save all my emails for just such occasions.

Its a HIS card, and you bought it at NCIX correct? Then HIS is correct, NCIX is the warranty provider for the first year, who ever answered your RMA request probably didn't know and was just yelling off the company line.

Reason I remember this vividly was because it was in BOLD letters at the bottom of the product page that the warranty was 1 year through NCIX. Contact Linus at linus@ncix.com

That's interresting. Are you sure of this?

Product Warranty
Limited warranty period of 30 days is provided through NCIX.com from the time of purchase. The remainder of the warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer.

This is what's written at the bottom of this page
NCIX.com - Buy HIS Radeon HD 4870 X2 750MHZ 2GB GDDR5 2XDVI HDTV PCI-E Video Card - H487X2F2GP In Canada.

I'll send the question to Linus.

It seems i'm not the only one who had been trough this:

Product Review Detail
Rated by David_P, March 26, 2009

Strengths
Fast card,

Weaknesses
Poor Support from HIS

Summary
I bought a pair of these cards for a crossfire setup, Turns out one of the cards is a dud, and I been waiting for 3 weeks now for HIS to RMA the unit. So far after the intial response it has been Silence. NCIX is trying to get someone to respond as well. So far no luck either.

Nothing wrong with the technology, but perhaps purchasing from another supplier would be better

I think sometimes this can happen to any manufacturer. It sucks nevertheless.
I've had offically 2 HIS RMA's now.
X1950, 2600HD.
Both went smoothly.

Very wierd that you are having problems.
