M2N-E won't support anything that's Phenom II related, so don't even try it.

i beg to differ on that comment. Another forum im on has one 06 benchmark of an i7 machine beefed up with a gtx 295 and it got beat out by a phenom 940 with a pair of 4870's in crossfire. In fact its Killswtch from here that did the benchmark .
Don't sweat it I was just teasing...little humour is all..I really could care less which one anyone chooses...so long as thiey're happy with the choice :)

dude, just get a 7750, it better than 6400 clock per clock since it's a phenom and it have more overclock headroom, it's only around 80$

but i need to update the Bios for 7750 right~ then why not just get a triple or quad core lol
btw...if a quadcore CPU runs at 2.3GHz, does it mean each core runs at 2.3GHz or the total is 2.3GHz?

if your willing to spend the money to get a tripple or quad core phenom I why not just buy a new mobo and goto phenom II? the older phenoms wherent very good at all and your be much better off in this situation switching to an E5200 intel build or just a 7750 AMD build and overclocking enough to get the video card to stop bottlenecking.

i guess i will go with the 7750...it runs at....2.70GHz ... and overlock it to 3.0Ghz+ to stop bottleneck~
too bad 6400+ isn't fast enoguh~ i guess its speed of 3.2GHz still can't stop the bottleneck
can quadcore phenom I stop the bottleneck though?
