I was using a DVI to HDMI cable but no sound and my TV was detected in CCC as DVI, had a look online at various forums and got in touch with ATI support and confirmed I had to use the ATI dongle. Try and get one from your cardís manufacture or E-bay seems to have a lot of them, the only thing is there is more than one revision of the dongle and only one will work with the 4000 series cards ( I believe it is the revB version). Hopes this helps.
