Default Budget Video Card Selection

Since I'm sacrificing my ATI AIW Radeon 9800 Pro for my HTPC setup I need an AGP replacement card. I have narrowed it down between one of two. Keep in my mind my budget is roughly $150.00

Sapphire Radeon X1650 Pro 590MHZ AGP 256MB 1.38GHZ GDDR3 - $150.12

or

BFG GeForce 7600GS 420MHZ AGP8X 512MB DDR2 - $134.74

I'd go with a 1650pro as well.

About $75 over your budget shipped, but this card, the 7900GS AGP:

makes all those other cards look foolish. If you're gonna stick to AGP, then IMO, it makes ALOT of sense to just get the best AGP card there is. There is only one better, but it isn't readily available in North America.

I'm not sticking with AGP this is just to do until I can afford to get the rest of the parts to build my 939 system. I want something that will do as good as my 9800 Pro or better but not break the bank.
