So how does that work.... u plug in one DVI and one VGA from the computer to the triplehead.....and then this allows you to connect 3 DVI monitors

One DVI-D (Dual link) is connected to the Triplehead2Go as well as one USB cable (for power/updating firmware). Install drivers/software, setup desired triplescreen resolutions, you're done! (I'd suggest reading the whole review... )

Another option is the UV series from EVGA, its a usb graphics adapter.... not really suited for gaming more just a usb-dvi adapter, that uses a chunk of your cpu. I have one in my setup and only use that monitor for Vista sidebar and all my temp/voltage monitoring software.

HD2900XT-20"(sideways) 1200x1600 & 50" plasma 1920x1080
HD2900XT-30" 2560x1600
EVGA UV16+ -20"(sideways) 1200x1600

-edit: obviously only suggesting the usb-dvi in addition to a REAL gpu.

This, gentlemen, is the exact sort of thing the HD4850 X2 was made for. :)
