My System Specs

Red face 55nm vs 65nm, not much power saved.

according to the reviews from our site.

BFG core 216 1 hour load 338Watts

eVGA core 216 1 hour load 305Watts

So all one would saved from a 55nm is 33W/Hours

I notice people said there's overclock potential for 55nm. But i prefer to buy factory OC brands since i don't feel comfortable overclock gpus

And by temperature somparison the 55nm is only cooler by 2C

As many of you know, budget gaming is my theme. As of now most of the 65nm are cheaper than the 55nm , wonder what happen to the reduce cost by cutting down on die size .

So my question is, what advantage would 55nm vs 65nm besides overclock potential :help:

Reduced costs for Nvidia, since potentially more chips can be manufactured from a single wafer.

...oh wait, you mean advantages for YOU? Uh... you've got me.
