Default Radeon X1900GT on EVGA nForce 680i?

I'm not sure if this is a foolish question or not but I'm doing some upgrades soon and one of the motherboards I'm considering is the EVGA nForce 680i SLI. Is this card (or any ATI card) compatible with this board? I feel like the answer should be so obvious but I just wondered if the nvidia chipset might not work with the Ati gpu.

If you are using a single card it should work without any problems. Now if you are looking to run the ATI cards in SLI this might be possible but only by modding the board and running a modded BIOS. I am unsure if this has been done on this board before.

Yeah the reason I asked was because as far as I know SLI is for GeForce cards and CrossFire for Radeon. That's why I thought that a Radeon card wouldn't be compatible with a board designed with a technology for GeForce cards. Either way later on this year when I get a DX10 card it will most likely be a GeForce, especially if I have this board. I wouldn't be running two X1900s any time soon.
