Default Looking for an AGP card for friend

Guys, what's a good agp card for an older system?

I have a friend who would like to play games with me but he can't afford a new pc right now. The type of games we'll be playing are L4D, CS and TF2. Nothing TOO demanding right? He's using like an old FX5600 or something like that. It can't even display L4D properly on lowest settings. So being a good friend I am, I thought I'd buy him an AGP card until he can find a new job again to save up for a new pc.

Would this one fit the bill?

[FS] GeForce 7600 512MB AGP, Radeon x800GTO2 256MB, Arctic Cooling ATI Silencer 5 Rev. 2 - RedFlagDeals.com Forums

Opps, forgot there's 2 cards for sale. I'm talking about the GeForce 7600

I have one older system that is using a 7800GS agp - It WILL play TF2 nicely, don't know about the others. So the 7600 *should* be OK. You could find a 7800 for that price probably, and then it would do at least the TF2 for sure.

Look for an ATI 3650. Great card for AGP and will play those games no problem. What processor is he running and how much ram?

Hmmm...I don't really know what his specs are. I will have to ask and find out for you guys tonight. I think I remember him saying it's an AMD running at 1.8ghz. As for how much memory, I dunno.

I guess I'll continue to look around for him. I don't want to spend $100 on a 3650 that's AGP for his old computer. I just need a decent card to get him by until he's back up on his feet and can afford to get himself a new pc.

If you guys think the 7600gs would work, then I'll just get that for him. He's not expecting to run any of these games on high settings anyways.

I have an ATI 9600XT agp that will run TF2. If you want it, it would be cheap, probably the same cost for the card as the shipping, as in $30 bux shipped would be fine with me. It is a 256mb card and ran Doom 3 and farcry original flavour fine - TF2 as well. I can send a pix if you are interested in that.
