Default 8800GT SLI questions

Hey all, I just bought a GTX 280 from the NCIX sale (got a sweet tax return, couldnt resist myself) and now I want to put my old Zotac 8800GT OC edition in my GF's comp to try out SLI. Shes got a Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo and a XFX 8800GT. Couple of questions for yall as Ive never tried SLI:

1 - It doesnt matter that the two cards are different brands, correct?

2 - The mobo came with a solid SLI bridge and theres no way its gonna fit over my accelero's I have on the 8800's, is there a flexible aftermarket bridge out there for the Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe that would be long enough to reach over either the Accelerro S1 Rev 2 or the Accelerro Twin Turbo?

Dont like the idea of having to run either of the cards with the stock fans again, they get hot and the XFX's stock fan is noisy as hell (sounds like garberator /shudder).

Hmm, answered my own question but would still like verification from some knowledgable peeps. Found this one at NCIX it should work, no?

My System Specs

Default

Different branded cards are fine. As long as it's the same chip they should run properly. Having two cards the same increases your certainty though :).

And yes that bridge will work.

Cool thanks Bojangles, well other then the cost of the flexible bridge I dont have much to lose trying. If it doesnt work, well I guess my media center PC gets a 8800GT .
