My System Specs

Default Xfire a 1 GB 4870 with a 512 MB

Would it be possible to crossfire a 1 GB 4870 with a 512 mb and still get the performance of the 1 GB of VRAM in the one 4870? I'm asking because I'm looking to upgrade to a crossfire board and get a 1 GB 4870 for now and then a cheap second one later for xfire purposes.

Nope, they'll both appear as 512mb cards when Xfire'd together, sorry.
