ATi Catalyst 9.1 Released! Kinda...

Get them while there HOT!

techPowerUp! :: Downloads

It seems that while the ATi 9.1 Catalyst's have been uploaded by ATi to mirrors everywhere, somewhere along the way ATi forgot to properly update their own website. :haha:

Drivers & Tools | GAME.AMD.COM

As you can see it even has been posted on their own site that the 9.1's are out but all the links lead to 8.12. From what I hear the 9.1's from the link I posted above have been verified to be the real deal. :thumb:

I'll update this post when release notes are out and its properly posted on AMD's website.

From what I understand it has been confirmed by various comunity sources(W1zzard for one, creator of ATiTool) that the files posted ARE the official release. Also you can get the 9.1's off Sapphire's website as well currently.

The AMD/ATi offices in Markham/Toronto should be opening around now so we'll see if they update their own links. Personally I'm more interested in the changelog at this moment since my 8.11's work just fine.

About Time!
Now I can finally get back to 8GB

Perfect timing in the benchmarking process for me to add this but I am dreading the issues that normally come with a new ATI driver and their dual GPU cards...
