Is your PCI-e Slot Close ended or Open ended?

SolisTech, its very possible. You should see the people who opened up there PCI-e 4X slots just to jam a few more Folding Cards in.

You will be bottlenecked, but you can do it.

Like ST said, you can put a full 16x card in a 4x slot if the back is open.

If it isn't open and you don't want to dremel it open you can always buy a 1x card and put it in. Nvidia and ATI/AMD had a few offerings, but the pricing was never great. The Nvidia ION cards are pretty hard to find too.

Quick look at NCIX and this is all there is: Powercolor Radeon HD 5450 GO!GREEN 650MHZ 512MB 667MHZ DDR2 PCI-E1 DVI VGA HDMI DIRECTX11 Video Card - PowerColor - AE5450 512MD2-SH

Newegg has slightly more offerings than NCIX. Still, not that great, because well, it is a PCIe 1x card.

If you could physically put a 16xcard into it, they'll be no problem; Only difference between 4x and 16x is that the 16x has like a 5% performance increase

your problem is similar to mine, you will need a slot extender, is around 25$ at newegg.ca Newegg.ca - StarTech PCI Express X1 to X16 Low Profile Slot Extension Adapter Card Model PEX1TO162
You mount a low profile card on it or if we speak of Newegg they also have a GT520 on PCIE X1 slot, or get a low profile GT430 on the slot extender or a Radeon 6570 whatever you consider. My radeon 4550 with 256MB DDR3 is not jumping over 25fps in NFSHP2010 at 800x600 but I think the game might be a bit much for a 3 year old low end card. An X4 to X16 adapter can be found here for 42$ PCI Express X4 to X16 Adapter Orbit Micro
