Looks pretty cool. What's the downside? The price?

Imagine playing FEAR with that.. Or like in the demo, when Alma grabs you. That'll be freaky.

The price is fine $199 isn't all that bad. It involves that big thing you're staring at while you read this post.

You mean that you need to get a "GeForce 3D Vision-Ready" monitor?

I am working on an article about this and other 3D technologies and let me tell you, there are ALOT more negatives than just the price of the monitor.

The glasses aren't all that bad, but the monitor prices are killer. Seriously, some companies have developed 3D TV's, that show up as 3D without the use of proper glasses. Why can't those companies port that over to PC technology?

That would make sense, but why? You can sell 2 items instead of 1 and make more money.

Wow, this is crazy. I was at work today and some guy came in and started talking to me about this new video technology called "3d Vision" and I totally thought he was crazy.

I kinda feel bad now. But it looks sweet!

I've read some user reviews on it, and while they are coming back mostly positive I'm curious to see what you have to say on the issue.

The sad thing is, something like this relies ALOT on manufacture support. I can just see this being dumped in a year or so when no one buys in to it.
