That. But now thinking about it, that is probably wrong. Just another estimate to gain views.

110% of the 280 is the math way of saying a 10% increase.

110/100 x (280 performance) = (285 performance)

I realized that not too long ago, but thanks for the reiteration.

I'd rather just buy a regular GTX280 for $350 than a 55nm one for $500, with only a 10% gain.

Or don't buy the 2 series at all and wait for the 3 series.

I'm curious how kruzn4evr found the link too. I just went up and down with the stock keeping unit number by 1 on the address bar to find the others suspecting that NCIX might add a few new products in order. Those SKU's don't work in NCIX search function btw, so how did kruzn4evr find it?

@Infiniti:

I just can't wait! Ideally, the 4870X2 and GTX295 should be matched, but from benchies I've seen in previews from various sites (including this one) it whoops the 4870X2's ass. 4870 ~ GTX260, so 4870X2 should ~ GTX295, if it's 2xGTX260 cores. but, no. The GTX 350 will indeed kick ass, if it is a GTX 280 GX2. But that will definitely be $700 or so when it comes out... Man, I'm like a kid in a candy store

@MonsterSound

Insider info, perhaps? Or maybe he could have searched it using Google. Maybe he works there, which explains his kickass machine :p Nah, but it was probably insider for sure.
