Stock shows > greater than 10 at the Richmond Warehouse which suggests to me that they ready to go as soon as permitted.
Still, too rich for my blood but verry interesting.
Thx for the post and btw, how did you find that E6G-3 listing?

There is a B6G-2 (SKU:35718) listed at $529.99 from BFG, hmmmm, but what is it? GTX 285?
as well as a B6G-2 (SKU:35717) listed at $629.99 from PNY, this one at least shows a GTX 295 pic and the 295 box pic.
Also a B6G-1 (SKU:35716) listed at $499.99 from PNY, no description, no pic again, ??? GTX 285?
and A6G-1 (SKU:35769) listed at $529.99 from ASUS. GTX 285?

@ Infiniti
No worries, your insignificant typo caused me absolutely no confusion.

@Monster Sound
Wow, thanks for the BFG/PNY link...The price listed THERE is a bit more in my reach, for $70 cheaper, I'd take BFG over EVGA for that much any day. I'm curious to find out how you guys found those links...

No way am I going for the PNY one, $630, seriously, do I look like a cash cow?

Ooo, new link! only $500! That's right on the money. The pic on the first PNY one didn't load for me...

I'm so excited about this card and the 3xx series, I wonder how far the 3xx series is down the road? Even more so, Will ATI just bown down and give up the performance crown to Team Green? I'm really curious to see what their answer to these cards are/will be.

If the GTX350 (supposedly) is a GTX 280 GX2, ATI may be hard-pressed to find a legit means of beating NV this time around.

I'm thinking maybe the $529 and $499 are GTX 285's? maybe?

Yes, you do look like a cash cow.

And the 3xx series is suppose to come around Q2-3 2009 or something. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But we all hate the waiting game. .

^^ Of course, we are all cash cows in the eyes of overbearing companys aren't we all? If I have to wait that long I might pop out of my shell and get me one of these cards

@MonsterSound

GTX285, GTX295, what's the difference? All I've heard of is GTX 295, only a tiny bit about GTX 285. Fill me in, if you can, please!

I think that the GTX285 is a single card and the GTX295 is a dual card. But what is the core used on the GTX295? Fill us in, MonsterSound!

I know for a fact that the GTX 295 is actually a GTX260 GX2, and based on that I'm guessing that the 285 is a revised 55nm GTX 280. If I were to upgrade, It would be between the GTX 280 and GTX 295, considering the cost over performance leap. EVGA GTX 280 for $350 at NCIX, Woo!

Yep, reading online, apparently the GTX285 has a 110% improvement over the GTX280.

Sounds like my GTX260 216 SLI still has a place around here..

Yes the 285 is the 55nm version of the 280. Lower power requirements (183W TDP vs. GTX280 236W) and slightly higher stock clock speeds - and maybe better overclocks. I expect reviews tommorrow.

Ah, right what I thought. I'm not so big on OCing video cards, they are a bit...too simple, and you have to use software to do it. I prefer CPU OCing because it's real down to earth, mathematic, tecnical stuff; not just sliding a bar back and forth in RivaTuner.

@ Infinti

Where on Earth did you get that crazy figure? 110% is a bit over double a GTX280!

EDIT: Wait, woops, I think it means 10% better, with the 100% making up what the original GTX280 is, if I am correct.

EDIT REDUX: It appears I am correct, according to Fudzilla and Chiphell. If so, I would definitely rather spend the money on a regular GTX280, since a) $150 for 10%, come on!
And b) New Tech may mean Price Drops! :P
