umm my specs are: Antec 900 case, P5Q motherboard. Patriot Extreme 2x2gb 4gb RAM, coolermaster 600watt with a newly added LED silent fan, 8800gtx, 500 gb harddrive (gonna get new one, have 15gb left), umm and ye.

It's probably not worth it to buy a new motherboard just to SLI as the price of a new board and a new 8800GTX would probably equal as much as a better card. Just wait for a good sale on a 260 or 4870 then sell your current card when you are ready to upgrade. Check the Buy/Sell section here as well, you might be able to get a good deal on a card .

What gave you that idea? Don't get me wrong, I love the Chinese, but... Have you seen my massive pot of tea?

As to the OP, seeing your system specs, the P5Q is a GREAT motherboard, no reason to replace it. My recommendation of selling the 8800GTX, and obtaining the cash for a 260GTX(or whatever else is in your price range at the time you can afford it) still stands.
